At Comcast, we continue to invest in transforming the customer experience. One example is our ongoing investment in Xfinity Stores, which feature a great team of employees and offer hands-on access (or even tutorials) to all Xfinity products. Recently, we opened three more Xfinity Stores across the Greater Boston region in Brockton, Framingham and Plymouth. That brings our total in Greater Boston to 15! You can find an Xfinity Store near you here.
“Xfinity stores are the ultimate showcase for consumers to experience how Xfinity products — including X1, Xfinity Internet, Xfinity Home and Xfinity Mobile — connect and simplify their lives,” said Steve Driscoll, vice president of sales and marketing for Comcast’s Greater Boston Region. “Our goal is to ensure our customers have an enjoyable, easy and fun experience in our stores and leave knowing a lot more about our superior products and services, and all the benefits and value of being a Comcast customer.”
Each Xfinity Store is designed entirely around the needs and feedback of Comcast customers. Xfinity Stores are more spacious than traditional service centers with large HDTVs and comfortable seating areas.
Plus, with a variety of hands-on product displays, customers can discover Comcast’s wide array of Xfinity products, including X1, our video entertainment platform with Voice Remote, Xfinity Mobile, the company’s new mobile phone service, as well as Xfinity Internet with speeds up to 1 Gig. The store also features an iPad bar for visitors to test out Xfinity apps that let customers watch live TV, stream On Demand content, download movies and TV shows, and monitor their homes while on the go. In addition, there’s also an Xfinity Home area, highlighting our security and home automation offering which demonstrates how easy it is to manage heating, cooling, lighting and other smart home devices.
In addition to the latest mobile devices and top-of-the-line mobile accessories, retail offerings include Bluetooth speakers, Xfinity Home accessories and other merchandise that complements Comcast’s services.
