Celebrity Chef Robert Irvine spent the day with Comcast Business recently in Boston’s Seaport District. Chef Irvine is a restaurant owner, but he’s best known for his work on the Food Network with landmark shows such as Restaurant Impossible and Chopped. He’s also well known for his philanthropic work with the military community and his passion for fitness has led to the publication of his first book, “Fit Fuel.’’
Chef Irvine visited with Comcast Business customers including Legal Harborside, Del Frisco’s and Tamo Restaurant in the Seaport Hotel where he had the opportunity to meet staff, surprise some guests and talk about the importance of technology in the hospitality industry. This special visit also happened to coincide with Comcast Business Customer Appreciation Day. For Chef and the Comcast Boston team, it centered around fact finding, meeting great people and seeing how technology has changed their businesses firsthand.
As Chef said in the video below, “It’s incredibly challenging to run a restaurant which is why it’s important to focus on how technology can save restaurant owners time, money and labor so that they can focus on what they do best: making great food and delighting customers.”
