Comcast has named Anthony Bowling Senior Vice President of the company’s Greater Boston Region, which encompasses 300 communities in eastern Massachusetts, Cape Cod and the Islands, New Hampshire and Maine.
In this role, Bowling is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the region’s business including customer experience, sales, marketing, operations and financial performance.
With 25 years of telecommunications industry experience, Bowling has held multiple operations roles with industry providers, including Comcast, Charter and MediaOne. Most recently, Bowling served as Vice President of Technical Operations for Comcast’s Greater Boston Region, where he was responsible for the day-to-day operations of technicians focused on delivering an excellent customer experience through the company’s smart, reliable and fiber-rich network and innovative products such as unbeatable Internet from Xfinity.
“Anthony’s dynamic leadership, combined with his proven ability to provide operational excellence, sets our Greater Boston team up for continued success,” said Kevin Casey, President of Comcast’s Northeast Division, which includes 14 northeastern states from Maine through Virginia and the District of Columbia.

Bowling received a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University and an MBA in Management from the University of St. Thomas. He and his wife, LeDonna, live in Somerville and have two grown children.
